Michael – Pharmacist
Born in Dallas, Michael spent most of his childhood in Cape Town, South Africa, before returning to Dallas to attend Highland Park High School. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in chemistry from Texas A&M College Station before enrolling in Texas Tech School of Pharmacy in Amarillo. After graduating in 2017, newly married (to a classmate), Michael settled in Waco, where he lives with his wife, 3 cats, and a newly adopted puppy. Michael’s chief interest in pharmacy is simplifying the medication use process for patients and empowering individuals to take part in their health care. Outside of work Michael is a capable goalkeeper, amateur guitarist, and board-game enthusiast.
Christina – Technician
Christina moved to Whitney with her family as a child and began working at Prescription Pharmacy while in high school cleaning shelves for Steve and Jerry. After graduating from Whitney High School, she worked at the pharmacy part time while attending Hill Junior College. She would later become a fulltime employee after receiving her technician license. She later enrolled in McClennan Community College’s Health Information Technologist program to learn how to educate patients on their assistance programs. Christina loves serving her customers who she says have become like members of her family. Christina has proudly served Whitney at Prescription Pharmacy for nearly 30 years.
Stephanie – Technician
Stephanie was born and raised in Whitney and graduated from Whitney High School in 2008. She attended Jacksonville College and Stephen F. Austin before moving back home in 2011. She is a third generation Bennett to work at a pharmacy and her favorite aspect of her job is knowing that she can help people in their time of need. Stephanie is the compounding lab manager and oversees clinic accounts.
Savannah – Technician
Savannah was born and raised in Whitney. She attended Whitney school and finished early with American Home School.She started working as a clerk at Prescription Pharmacy when she was 16 and knew she wanted to eventually become a technician. She moved to the small town of Limon, Colorado when she was 19 and worked in a pharmacy for 10 years. Savannah also attended Morgan Community College to become an E.M.T to further help the community. She and her husband moved back to Texas in 2015 to be closer to her family. She came back to work with her friends and family at Prescription Pharmacy where she’s still loving her job as a tech and inventory control specialist.
Shannon – Clerk
Shannon graduated from Clifton High School in 1996 and has lived in Whitney for most of her life. She has worked at the pharmacy for over ten years managing OTC items and says the most rewarding part is helping her friendly customers. Shannon enjoys spending time with her husband and three children.
Kassi – Clerk
Kassi was born and raised in Whitney. She attended Whitney Public Schools until she entered America Home School Program and finished high school early. She started working at Prescription Pharmacy when she was 16 years old and has worked there part-time for 20 years. She considers it a privilege to be part of an independent pharmacy. She loves to come to work and get to know her customers and make sure they always feel welcomed. Kassi enjoys camping with her wonderful husband and their two amazing boys.
Suzann – Clerk
Stephen – Pharmacist & Previous Owner
Stephen was born and raised in Hill County and graduated from the University of Texas College of Pharmacy in 1984. Stephen left Austin and move to Dallas where he worked for a chain pharmacy for two years. In 1986 Stephen returned to Hill County to work with his dad, Dean Paul Bennett, and Jerry Yocham at H&R Drug in Hillsboro. Soon after, Stephen and Jerry founded Prescription Pharmacy in Whitney. After nearly 30 years of service to the Lake Whitney community, Stephen decided it was time to “retire” and sold the pharmacy to Will. Stephen still works part time at the pharmacy and enjoys serving his longtime customers. “The changes over 30 years have been tremendous. I started with a typewriter and now we have a full pharmacy robot!”
Will – Pharmacist & Owner
Will attended the University of Oklahoma where he graduated with a Bachelors of Science in 2009. He moved to Dallas upon graduating from OU’s College of Pharmacy in 2013. After working for a chain pharmacy for several months, he was hired to manage Axtell Pharmacy in Pilot Point, TX. In the summer of 2015, he founded Crimson Care Pharmacy Group and acquired Prescription Pharmacy in Whitney, TX.
